Festivities begin at 11:00 AM, and the highlight of the day. The Grand Duck Race , begins promptly at 2:00 PM.

Duck Day is held on Maple Street in Naugatuck, CT, along the banks of the Naugatuck River.

The festival stretches through the downtown area, with the river serving as the starting point for the main Duck Race.

You won’t miss it, just follow the crowd (and the ducks).

As the exciting day unfolds, the Naugatuck River becomes the epicenter of action, where thousands of rubber ducks take a splashy plunge to compete in the thrilling Duck Race. So, make your way to Maple Street and the Naugatuck River, and join in the quacktastic fun of Duck Day. It’s the place to be for a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and cherished memories!

1. It’s simple:

   1. Purchase a Duck Race entry (raffle ticket).
      Each ticket includes a unique number assigned to a rubber duck in the race.

   2. Choose a nonprofit (if applicable).
      A portion of your ticket purchase supports the organization of your choice.

   3. Watch the race at 2:00 PM.
      Thousands of ducks are released into the river and race toward the finish line.

   If your duck is one of the first to cross the finish line,  you win!

2. Get Your Lucky Duck Number: After purchasing your raffle tickets, you will receive your exclusive lucky duck numbers. Hold onto them tightly, as they might be the ones that bring you victory!

3. Gather at the Naugatuck River: On the day of the event, join the enthusiastic crowd by the Naugatuck River. The excitement will be contagious as everyone waits in anticipation for the big race.

4. Witness the Grand Moment: At the scheduled time, thousands of Rubber Ducks will be released into the river from a massive payloader. Watch in awe as they take off on their thrilling journey down the river.

5. Cheer Your Ducks to Victory: As the rubber racers dash along the water, keep your eyes on your lucky duck numbers. If your duck crosses the finish line first, you’re a winner! Prizes await the top-performing ducks.

Duck Day is more than a race, it’s a fundraiser.

A portion of every Duck Race ticket sold is donated directly to participating nonprofit organizations. In fact, 50% of each ticket sale goes to the nonprofit selected at the time of purchase.

If you purchase your Duck Race entry in person from a participating organization or store location, you will receive a physical ticket stub.

If you purchase online, you will receive an email confirmation with your duck number(s).

Either way, your duck is officially in the race.

If your duck number is one of the winning numbers, you will be contacted using the information provided at the time of purchase.

Of course, being there to watch the race makes it even more exciting!
